Dr. Shafia Aminath

Agricultural Scientist

Dr. Aminath Shafia is a distinguished Maldivian agricultural scientist, author, and policymaker with nearly three decades of dedicated service in public administration. She holds a PhD in Plant Science, a Double Master’s Degree in Environmental Biology and Agriculture, and previously served as the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Fisheries, Agriculture, and Marine Resources.
